We are a husband and wife team, who enjoy working together to get the ultimate photographs of your special occasion. We often photograph weddings together, although we can be hired separately :). We work well together having been married for over 12 years, and have ensured the smooth running of photography for many excited brides and their grooms. We treat your special day as our special day and we feel genuine excitement and connection with our clients. With complimentary strengths, we strive to ensure that your photography shoot is a memorable occasion filled with laughter. We wish all of our clients as much happiness as we have shared over the years.
Ivan is the principal photographer at Ivan Christian Photography. He is a local of the Central West, having grown up in Bathurst. He and his wife Krissy continue to live in the Central West with their three young children Shanlei, Paul and Jye.
He has completed his Masters in Art and Design through the College of Fine Arts (University of New South Wales) and has had his works displayed at an international level. Ivan’s photographs have also seen him featured in the Telegraph where he has been awarded “Wedding of The Week”.
Ivan believes that each photo shoot should reflect the unique needs of his clients. He believes in creating a relaxed atmosphere and consulting closely with the client to ensure that they get the best value for their money. Photography is an art and Ivan’s aim is to capture moments which his clients will be proud to have displayed in their homes for years to come.
Krissy fell into photography after Ivan commenced working in photography in 2011. Krissy herself became immersed in the art, and it wasn’t long before she was tagging along to photograph weddings and babies with him. Ivan describes Krissy as his biggest critique, and she often jumps into shots at the last minute ensuring the correct placing of the dress and veil to make for the perfect shot. Krissy’s warm and quiet approach makes her a hit with clients, and she is always ready to have a laugh.
Krissy also now handles the majority of post production work on your photos, spending hours ensuring that clients will be thrilled with their images. Krissy also loves reliving the moments of weddings, through creating your wedding and parents’ albums.
